Oleg M. Teytelboym, MD

Dr. Oleg Teytelboym is a board certified diagnostic radiologist with expertise in oncologic and cardiac imaging.  He serves as the Chairman of Radiology for Mercy Catholic Medical Center and is the President of Mercy Diagnostic Imaging.  In addition to these responsibilities, Dr. Teytelboym serves on numerous departmental and hospital-based committees.

He has made significant academic contributions to the field of Radiology through numerous publications, educational exhibits and invited lectures.  His work has earned a multitude of awards, culminating in the 2017 RSNA Honored Educator Award.

Dr. Teytelboym completed his residency in Nuclear Medicine and residency in Diagnostic Radiology at The Johns Hopkins Hospital.  He completed his medical internship at Harbor Hospital.  Dr. Teytelboym earned his doctorate of medicine at University of Michigan Medical School with Academic Honors and a B.A. in Physics with Highest Honors at Rutgers University.

Dr. Teytelboym also holds the title of Clinical Assistant Professor of Radiology at Drexel University College of Medicine.

 

 

 

Aparna Srinivasa Babu, MD

Dr. Aparna Srinivasa Babu is a board certified diagnostic radiologist with expertise in abdominal and chest imaging and a special interest in cancer imaging. Dr. Babu serves on the Mercy Catholic Medical Center Cancer Committee and facilitates the Mercy Philadelphia Hospital Department of Medicine Morbidity and Mortality Conference.

Dr. Babu completed her Abdominal Imaging fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania and her residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Mercy Catholic Medical Center.

 

 

 

 

 

Gerard T. Berry, MD

Dr. Berry is a board certified interventional radiologist and serves as section head of interventional radiology.  He serves on the Cancer Committee and the Pharmaceutical and Therapeutic Committee of Mercy Catholic Medical Center.  He is interested in interventional oncology, which utilizes minimally invasive techniques to treat tumors of the lung, liver, and kidney. Dr. Berry also provides treatments to patients for venous disease, uterine fibroids, and vertebral fractures.

Before completing his Interventional Radiology fellowship at the University of North Carolina Hospital, Chapel Hill, he trained at Case Western Reserve for his residency in diagnostic radiology.  His internship was in Philadelphia at Pennsylvania Hospital.  He attended medical school at Thomas Jefferson Medical College.

Dr. Berry holds the title of Clinical Assistant Professor of Radiology at Drexel University College of Medicine.

 

 


Robert Borden, DO

Dr. Borden is a board certified diagnostic radiologist with expertise in emergency radiology and body imaging.  Following residency, he completed additional training in cardiac imaging.  Dr. Borden serves on the MCMC By-Laws Committee.

Dr. Borden completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology and his transitional year internship at Mercy Catholic Medical Center.  He earned his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr. Borden holds the title of Clinical Assistant Professor of Radiology at Drexel University College of Medicine.

 

 

 

 


Marion B. Brody, MD

Dr. Marion B. Brody is a board certified diagnostic radiologist with subspecialty training in breast imaging and a special interest in minimally invasive image guided breast procedures and women’s health. Dr. Brody offers vast experience; having worked at a large, prestigious cancer center for nearly a decade prior to joining our practice.

Dr. Brody completed her abdominal imaging fellowship at The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where she served as Chief Fellow. She trained at Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia for Diagnostic Radiology residency. Prior to transitioning to Radiology, Dr. Brody completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and worked as an internist for more than a decade.   She earned her doctorate of medicine at Jefferson Medical College and graduated Magna cum Laude from Brown University with a degree in American Civilization.

 

 

 

Fraser Brown, MD

Dr. Fraser Brown is a board certified diagnostic radiologist with expertise in neuroradiology, earning his certificate of added qualifications (CAQ) in 2012.  Dr. Brown serves on the Stroke Committee for both Mercy Fitzgerald and Mercy Philadelphia Hospitals.

Dr. Brown completed his Neuroradiology fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Drexel University.  Preceding his training in radiology, Dr. Brown also completed a residency in Neurology at Drexel University.  Dr. Brown earned his medical degree at Drexel University and attended college at Brown University.

Dr. Brown holds the title of Clinical Assistant Professor of Radiology at Drexel University College of Medicine.

 

 

 


Reza Hayeri, MD

Dr. M. Reza Hayeri is a board certified diagnostic radiologist with subspecialty training in musculoskeletal imaging with special interest in musculoskeletal ultrasound, MRI and intervention.  He also has experience in patient-centered quality improvement initiatives.

Dr. Hayeri completed his musculoskeletal fellowship at the University of California, San Diego.  He trained at Mercy Catholic Medical Center for Diagnostic Radiology residency and internship and earned his medical degree from the National University of Iran School of Medicine.  He also holds a Master of Public Health from University of California, Los Angeles.

 

 

 

 

Justin Mackey, MD

Dr. Justin Mackey is a board certified diagnostic radiologist with expertise in body imaging where he serves as section head.  He is also the Program Director for the Radiology Residency at Mercy Catholic Medical Center.  In addition to these responsibilities, Dr. Mackey serves on multiple departmental and hospital-based committees including the Graduate Medical Education Committee and Mercy Catholic Medical Center Tissue Committee.  He was also essential to the introduction and optimization of dual energy CT at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital.  Dr. Mackey has contributed numerous publications and has earned multiple teaching awards.

Dr. Mackey completed his fellowship in Body Imaging and MRI at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at North Shore University Hospital.  He completed his medical internship at Greenwich Hospital and his doctorate of medicine at New York Medical College.  Dr. Mackey earned a B.A. in Biology at Tufts University.

Dr. Mackey also holds the title of Clinical Assistant Professor of Radiology at Drexel University College of Medicine.

 

 

Michael K. McGarry Jr., MD

Dr. Michael McGarry is an interventional radiologist who also serves on the Vascular Service Committee. His interests include: Peripheral vascular interventions for wound healing and claudication, acute and chronic deep venous thrombosis intervention and venous ablation.

Dr. McGarry completed his fellowship in interventional radiology, his residency in diagnostic and interventional radiology as well as internships in both general surgery and internal medicine at the Christiana Care Health System. He earned his doctorate of medicine at the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Arts from LaSalle University.

 

 

 

 

Jeffrey Poot, DO

Dr. Jeffrey Poot is a board certified diagnostic radiologist with subspecialty training in musculoskeletal and pediatric imaging.  He has special interest in musculoskeletal ultrasound, MRI and intervention.

Dr. Poot completed his musculoskeletal fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and his pediatric radiology fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC.  He trained at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center for his Diagnostic Radiology residency and at Crozer-Keystone Health System for his internship.  Dr. Poot earned his medical degree from the Lake Eric College of Osteopathic Medicine.  Dr. Poot earned his Bachelor of Arts with Distinction in Neuroscience from the University of Delaware and has completed additional certification through the Radiology Leadership Institute.

 

 

 


Scott Rotenberg, MD

Dr. Scott Rotenberg is a board certified diagnostic radiologist with expertise in breast imaging and intervention where he serves as section head of breast imaging, as director of quality assurance for the department of Radiology and as Associate Program Director for the Diagnostic Radiology residency program at Mercy Catholic Medical Center.  In addition to these responsibilities, Dr. Rotenberg serves on multiple departmental and hospital-based committees including the Ethics Committee of Mercy Philadelphia Hospital and the Program Evaluation and Clinical Competency Committees for the MCMC Radiology Residency.  He was also paramount in establishing 3-D mammography (tomosynthesis) at both hospitals.  Additional academic pursuits incorporate quality improvement and assurance activities with the overall aim to improve patient care.

Dr. Rotenberg completed his Women’s Imaging fellowship at the University of Maryland and his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Einstein Medical Center: Philadelphia.  He completed his medical internship at Georgetown University Hospital and his doctorate of medicine at Georgetown University.  Dr. Rotenberg earned a B.S. in Biology and a B.A. in Psychology while in the University Honors Program at The George Washington University. Dr. Rotenberg also holds the title of Clinical Assistant Professor of Radiology at Drexel University College of Medicine.

 


Amanda L. Steinberger, DO

Dr. Amanda Steinberger is a board certified interventional radiologist. She serves on the Mercy Catholic Medical Center Tissue Committee. Her interests include: Women’s health interventions such as uterine fibroid embolization and varicose vein treatments, interventional oncology, and general interventions.

Before completing her Vascular and Interventional Radiology fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center / Harvard Medical School, she trained at Mercy Catholic Medical Center for her residency in diagnostic radiology. Dr. Steinberger completed her transitional year at Mercy Catholic Medical Center and earned a Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in General Biology from Washington & Jefferson College.
